WordBook data is compressed and contains more than 147 thousand definitions,
more than 300 thousand word links. Dictionary and application files can be
installed to internal memory or storage card.

| Word Definitions |
Each word definition consists of synonym sets grouped in word
types (noun, verb, adjective and adverb). Synonym sets have meanings with usage
samples, links to related words: synonyms, hypernyms, derivationally related
forms... Irregular verb definitions have usage details (tenses) and sample
sentences.

| Speech Engine and Pronunciation
|
WordBook includes Text To Speech technology to speak individual words or
read a short English text on the screen. Word definitions include pronunciation
guides in International Phonetic Alphabets (phonetic key, not
actual voice).

| User Interface
|
WordBook user interface is colored to match your Pocket PC theme. It is divided
in 3 different views.
- Lookup View is to enter new word or recall from favorite, study lists or
search results.
- Content View is to read word definitions. Font in Content View can be
customized with 5 different preset sizes and optional Clear Type.
- Search View is to perform advanced wild card search or phonetic search.

| Navigation
|
Navigation in WordBook is similar to your friendly internet browser, where you
can go back and forth between definitions easily. Any word in current
definition text can be looked up via a tool bar button. Integrated Last Viewed
list maintains up to 64 recently accessed definitions which stay in
memory even after restarting the software.

| Word Lookup
|
WordBook includes full word lists that scroll when text is entered. You will
not have to enter an entire word like in other dictionary software.

| Word Search
|
WordBook 3.0 include powerful word search capability no other dictionary
software can offer: wildcard and phonetic search. Symbols you can use to define
search include: ? any single
letter, * zero or any number of
letters , [abc] any letter in a
set, (abc) any combinations of
letters in a set - also called anagram and {abc,xyz}
any predefined letter sequences.

| Word Picker
|
WordBook include this little companion to help you "pick" words
from inside other applications. Just select the word and tap the floating Word
Picker icon: two stylus taps!

| Learning Assistant
|
Study List is to help you set goals in learning English. The software can
populate a number of new words from a word list of your choice every day. Words
can also be added directly from the lookup list, or from the current
definition while viewing.

|
Favorite list helps you keep the words you want to revisit
later. Words can be added directly from lookup list, or from current
definition while viewing.

Additional word lists can be downloaded here.
The Word Search and Study List feature can reference these additional word
lists as data source in addition to the built-in dictionary words.

WordBook carries the Designed for Windows Mobile for Pocket PC logo.
It is compatible with any Pocket PC device running Pocket PC from 2000 to 2003.
